7 Morning Rituals Ideas for Success and Productivity
Win The Day by Wining The Morning
One of America’s founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin, had advocated ‘Early to bed and Early to Rise, Makes a Man (or woman) Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.
If you’ve ever read his autobiography, then you’ll learn he lived up to his word.
A successful person and in many fields and including, among other things, an author, printer, political theorist, politician, freemason, postmaster, scientist, inventor, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat.
A real polymath!
He must have been a voracious learner, and it’s useful to have a personal learning project as part of your particular day that is independent of work.
Mr. Franklin had a morning ritual getting up at 5 am every morning.
First off, you don’t need to wake up early to be successful because many successful wake up at a more reasonable time.
People have different chronotypes (Chronotype refers to when a person gets up and relies on various physical processes’ underlying circadian rhythms.
A person’s chronotype is a natural tendency to behave in a particular way, such as an individual to sleep at a specific time during 24 hours.)
So, figure out what yours is and live by that.
Mr. Franklin didn’t take time for breaks during his main working hours.
But that was Mr. Franklin, and you are encouraged to do, take regular short intervals.
Working 5 hours straight is a hell of a long time, and surely efficiency would break down and bring along brain fatigue, let alone what it could do to your body.
Go for a walk, do some exercise, deep breathing, and just take some chill.
There was once an exceptionally successful copywriter by Gene Schwartz’s name.
He discovered that the brain could concentrate for longer than 30-minute intervals. When he got to work writing on a book or sales literature, he set the alarm for 33 minutes and 33 seconds.
No matter where he was with his work, he would stop once that alarm sounded.
He would then do something different for 5 minutes and then repeat the above when writing.
Once the work was complete, Mr Schwartz would clear his workspace into a neutral state, ready to steamroll in to go for the next day’s challenges.
It’s no different from the more complex lifestyle of today.
We should value time with friends and relax and understand the importance of taking breaks as we need to recharge between work sessions.
Mr. Franklin would set an intention in the morning, and this helps if you do this too, because you reflect on what you’ve done during the day, and start to pinpoint what you’ve done right and what could have gone better, and being flexible enough to make changes and help improve the next day.
Famous people are mentioned in this article, not just to inspire. Instead, they do as an exact recipe for success.
Experiment and figure out what works for you.
Nobody is perfect, not even Benjamin Franklin; even he mentioned in his autobiography that he had faults. But he had the habit of scheduling and starting with intention.
Build yourself the habit of arranging or planning your day. You’ll establish practices of routines and patterns that will make things happen, and in turn, you’ll be more successful. (so long as those habits are positively reinforced!)
Everyone has a morning routine, a ritual, or practice – It goes something like this…
Smash the snooze button until your fingers bleed at 7 am
At 8.30 am, head on to the bathroom bandage your wound hand. After your trip over the cat, of course!
Then at 8.45 throw on some clothes, even matching socks if you can find them.
Finally, at 8.50 am, before heading out to work, have a pop-tart and guzzle down the taste of cold coffee before tasting the stress of the rest of the day.
Okay, the above scenario is overly imaged, but it’s not far from the typical chump’s typical system.
Starting the day in this way is a sure way of kick-starting the flow of adrenaline. Yet, it is double troubled separately as cortisol cores rushing down your veins, and your body has to respond – ts response stress!
That’s certainly something you don’t require in the morning.
While getting to work, you’re awake. When you reach the office, you’re almost asleep because of all that sugar up consumed from your pop tart, and its effects start to wear off, leaving you a drooling tired mess.
Starting the day like this does not warrant a winning day because you’re not setting yourself up to win.
Wouldn’t you appreciate it if you were more alert in the morning?
Every sucks in the morning – except for the smart!
If you’ve also realized that you suck in the morning and want to be successful, then read on and discover the most successful people on this planet, wake up before sunrise. Still, of course, there’s more to it than that!
Read on and discover the difference that makes the difference.
“It’s a funny thing about life’ If we refuse to accept anything but the best, you often get it.” – W Somerset Maugham.
What’s your morning ritual/routine?
Part of Benjamin Franklin morning rituals, he would set an intention with the following question: he would ask himself: “What Good Shall I Do This Day?”
Isn’t that’s a beautiful way to start the day?
For the reason that because setting an intention allows you to give yourself directly for your day an inevitably there will present you from giving full attention and your main goals for the and urgent tasks that will pop up later and because you so focus on your daily intention you keep an eye on your vision for that day and avoid those distractions.
Setting and adopting a daily intention is a positive way forward because, as the late Jim Rohn would put it: “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day.” – Jim Rohn.
Then, of course, is your usual routine, wash, and a healthy breakfast. Then go about your daily business.
What gets you fired up in the morning?
What fine-tuning could you implement that could significantly reduce morning stress?
Building rock-solid success.
Listen, believing in yourself is everything! Do you believe in yourself?
If you can’t do this, no strategy you will ever discover will help you find your real potential, hidden skills and know what and when you are best.
Can you think about a time when you able to unravel your best idea?
- When having a cup of coffee?
- When they take a shower?
- Go out for a run or walk?
- — it’s usually when the problem is not on your mind, and you feel kind of relaxed.
“We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” – Albert Einstein THEORETICAL PHYSICIST, PHILOSOPHER, NOBEL PRIZE WINNER.
What were you doing at the time when it happened?
Where were you when that happens?
If possible, go back to the same location, take the same action, and discover more great ideas.
Write your idea down.
Don’t rely on your memory, and else you’re likely to forget your ideas.
There’s the story of the great German writer and philosopher Goethe. They always had a notebook at his side on the many occasion, and ideas bubbled up to the surface of his consciousness and had a chance to record it.
Usually by his bedside table during the night.
This receiving of ideas does happen while in a relaxed state. It happens more than you know.
Yes, you can use an electronic device, but nothing beats plain old pen and paper, and besides, there no time requirement for the device to boot up and, in that case, the chance to forget your thoughts.
Put it on paper – and you can analyze it later, better place and tweak
You’ll get better at accomplishing your goals because you’ll so much the better because you put them into action.
Yet it is this moment fear creeps in.
Fear is something to be vigilant against because it really can cripple your motivation.
When doubts cast your mind, you will question your ability to implement your ideas and plants and turn them into prosperous, which is very frustrating.
It would help if you convinced yourself this is your time.
You are great, and that feeling is charging in your guts.
Then, suppose you allow yourself to be afraid.
In that case, all you need to achieve is a person who jots down ideas, not knowing if they’re potentially tremendous and knowing not if that idea or ideas would lead you to prosperity.
More on Fear
It’s been written that fear means False Evidence Appearing Real.
Have you ever said or heard someone say, “If only I had,” or “If I had”?
Having the idea is one thing, but not implementing them, always telling you to get things done even though they never try anything worthwhile themselves.
Don’t be an “if I had” type person.
That is not for you as you are a doing person, aren’t you?.
For you, it’s not too late to decide to change your life situation.
Set realistic goals and time set to achievement
For the very moment you decide to go forward with your idea, you’ll feel a surge of power.
This feeling overrides the group of power from fear had over your mind once You put your plan into action.
And that requires a system.
Go ahead, leap of faith, for shaky fingers and wobbling legs – what? Go for it!
“Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace, and power in it.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
Project management
Setting goals and setting a timeline for their accomplishment is essential because a target without a deadline is like looking forward to nothing but a blank canvas and nothing to celebrate.
You use goals to measure how you were coming along in reach your plan, assessing and, if necessary, make adjustments and along the way discover new skills you can develop.
Hard-work will simply transforming your goals into reality. However, merely working hard – is part of the equation. Plan your time exceptionally well, then do not expect partial results!
You have to be consistent because without the other then it’s not possible to achieve
Determination and hard work are two sides of the same coin.
The best way to make your dreams come true is to wake up.” – Muhammad Ali.
- Wake up.
- Be determined.
- Work hard,
- But the other side of working hard is fun.
Couple hard work with fun else, you’ll never be determined to succeed, and you’ll lose the gas of momentum to move forward – make it fun!
Making improvements to your skill-set and plans
Improving your skill-set will discover other things you would like to get done and gain success in different areas that you would have made for initially. By improving your strategy, you find out new abilities that you had no idea you had.
You do this by improving your revision upon the areas of your plan. You must always be aware of you what is going on in your business, transactions initiated.
Never Fear Success
The path to success often comes with all kinds of obstacles, challenges, and other hurdles we must overcome at some stage.
We develop character and get tough-minded by finding solutions.
There will always be bumps along the way, time when you’ll have to start again and recover from misfortune – which hopefully will happen too little rather than too often.
When The situation looks blear, accept it. Fret not.
Analyze the situation and its probable cause or causes and immediately design a strategy to correct or overcome the problem and prevent it from occurring again.
Fears Begin to Diminish.
There are the steps crucial to becoming successful.
Miss a step, then expect a definite fall – failing to reach your goals!
Yes, it sounds like an old clique, but it is accurate, and that is ‘take things one step at a time.’
Discover yourself and find your soul purpose.
Life is like a roller-coaster, there will be up, and there will be downs. Life is always ready to take us on!
Raise your game, work what works and is fun, and be determined enough to begin your day – these commonalities of highly successful people.
Thought-Power
Changing thoughts eventually influences your actions. Every action is seeded by viewing consciously or subconsciously, empowering your mind to re-program those thoughts created through empowering rituals that replace disempowering beliefs.
Start the day and make fair use time your time with productively in mind with a right attitude and energetically refresh your ideas and consider this, you, millionaires and billions, have at least one thing in common – you share the fact you each have the same 24 hours in a day, but, its how we structure our activities during this time frame that makes the difference.
Follow these 9 Steps to Disempowerment Series of Actions
Are you ready? …
Getting out of bed long after the sun has conformable settled itself in the sky and has provided great warmth for the earth.
Lack of physical and mental exercise or unhealthy eating habits leads to degenerative and other fatal health issues.
Your time is used to read and watch the wrong kind of materials that cannot help you achieve your ultimate goals.
The individuals we interact with daily influence our thought process a lot more than we often realize.
You will not find any successful people handing out on the side of the street speaking to a group of individuals that only hands out on the road every day unless they are doing some kind of community outreach program.
Gossiping on the telephone, of course, is to be considered unnecessary. Spending valuable production time is a loss for a successful individual.
If you keep spending most of your time with unproductive people, then, eventually, you will become sterile. Make sure that you are not wearing the label of an unsuccessful person.
Evaluate your acquaintances.
Suppose you associate yourself with people who are thriving for success or who are already successful.
In that case, you will be motivated to change your lifestyle to be more in line with the successful people you are now associating with.
Now, it is not not to advocate not to stop speaking to your friends if it does not produce the fruits of your labor. It was merely suggesting that you lessen your association with them.
- Never make any plans for your day.
- You just go with the flow of any events.
- If you are not making plans to achieve, then you will quickly set yourself up for failure.
- So do not be surprised when you reap failures.
Poor time management. - You might have made plans for your day, but you spent too much time conducting unproductive practices.
No form of academic improvement.
Indeed, most of the world’s wealthiest individuals may not have had a master’s degree.
They continually educate themselves through this could be through daily reading of books or by watching various information videos or audios, which assist them in improving their skill-sets.
The proper allocation of your finances is a disempowering practice.
You are investing your money in things that cannot return a profit on your dollar and will not let you become rich.
It is great to have a fancy car, beautiful clothes and dine at the finest restaurants, but these must only be a reward for the assets you have a mass through your hard work.
You live like the rich and famous when your bank account is still living in poor man’s land is a perfect example of you allocating your funds poorly.
All the finer things of life that you want to enjoy now will still be available when you have mastered your success rituals.
You are financially capable of living life as a wealthy and famous individual.

Your first exercise should be to smile.
Why?

Because doing this sends a message to your central nervous system to cut out the state of fight/flight.

You’ll feel relaxed.

Feed Your Brain with Positive Affirmations and Afformations!
Usually, when you get up in the morning, you can feel groggy and less than enthusiastic about the day ahead, so you need to ground yourself with positive Affirmation (or Afformation – I’ll come to that in just a moment.)
There are some great sources of audio and books for positive motivation.
If you meditate, then listen/read afterward because you can reach out for your most significant source of inspiration.
Get fired up for the day and help block negative voices in your head because they consist of an absence of positive presence and instead tell you that you cannot achieve and set the tone for your day.
Improve your knowledge and take time in the morning to read anything that inspires you to succeed.
All the knowledge you acquire will come from your experience and what you teach!
A little bit about Afformation
If you don’t find positive Affirmation works for you because, to work for you, you’ve got to really believe in the statement, honestly.
For example, if you repeat the statement “I am rich” and don’t think that, then, in reality, you’re not going to convince your subconscious mind to believe you are rich, that leaves a belief gap, then perhaps, Afformation may work for you instead.
“Every sentence I utter must be understood not as an affirmation but as a question.” – Niels Bohr.
What is Afformation?
Your subconscious mind responds automatically not to mere statements but something more powerful – questions.
An example:
Problem: Money
Question: you ask yourself, “why am I so broke?” — this is a disempowering question.
At the root of every problem is a question.
The approach for turning this disempowering question into an Afformation is to structure the problem in such a way that is personally empowering:
“Why do I let myself be prosperous and happy, too?
[For more information about Afformations, then I highly recommend the book: “The Book of Afformations” by Noah St. John.]
A Morning Ritual Should Be Concluded with An End The Day Ritual
Ironically, how you end your day will impact how your day starts, so aim to end your day on a good note.
After a hard day of wear and tear, your body needs to unwind.
Therefore, relaxing in the evening is essential to your well-being, despite saying that, spending time with family and friends is also beneficial.
So don’t forget your loved ones in the pursuit of success. They’re more important than you’ll know as it can be very lonely at the top!
Tomorrow planned today
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!” – Benjamin Franklin
- Make plans for the next day
- Prioritize your tasks
- Make a list of those that are critical to least important.
- Assess your day if you had completed your entire job, and you hadn’t?
- what prevented you from achieving that task.
If possible, light exercise in the evenings too and complement that to relax you enjoy and settle in for a healthy, prosperous future!
Discover – Anchoring!
Anchoring is merely a process.
We are naturally subjected to it all the time. There are two reasons why anchoring is just so amazingly powerful.
We can access positive resource states at any time we need to positively peak perform. Tapping into positive, powerful resourceful states, you will move faster towards your goals.
We need to accomplish our goals and task; however, some anchors are so cynical they limit us. By consciously placing a new anchor, we can stop these negative anchors in their tracks and prevent them from controlling us.
Robust implement anchoring can lead you to incredible success.
Additional tip for defeating procrastination – learn How to set an anchor:
What’s an anchor?
Anchoring is a technique to research individual states of mind.
There are multiple uses of using anchoring, such as reaching higher levels of success or relax and be calm.
It can be used in many situations. We have to be precise, be unique, and pure, and we have to apply intensity.
To further expand on this:
- Precise means the exact moment the anchor is set.
- Identify and capture the right moment to place an anchor.
- To permanently set an anchor, we must use a unique anchor.
- The purity of anchor is only as pure as we must not provide contrasting experiences.
So, for example:
Have a clear idea of how you would like your mind to behave – here, think of past experiences where you felt compelled and prompted you to drive you to do something.
Once the anchor is set, test it out. Does the desired state come out?
If it did not, run the visualization process again and again and again. Sometimes you have to change your anchor.
To continue the example:
The sequence of four steps will turn any excuse of procrastination into a frenzy for doing anything.
As mentioned, there are four steps in a particular order related to anchoring and are as follows:
Clarity
Leverage
Confusion
Power
Clarity:
Ask yourself – “what do you want to get out of this?” and “what’s stopping you from getting it?”
Leverage:
It’s terrific to know what you want, but that is not enough. Now you have the information you have to feel to take the necessary action to take.
Once you’ve learned to master anchoring, you’ll find it is a potent ally.
Yes, mastering does mean practice.
Repetition and repetition is the mother of skill, after all, and make the difference between living the victorious life you want.
The benefits too tremendous to mention, but some services include: uplift from low self-image, low self-esteem, even depression, and understand how people act the way they do, including dealing with personal problems with relationships, communication, and the work environment.
You’ll find you’ll become more dedicated, energetic, and motivated to the success you want to achieve because essentially, we have strengthened our positive feelings.
It is so easy to do … why didn’t we learn this in school?
